I am rolling around in my not-so-ergonomic office chair. (Of course, it could be the cold meds. . . ) HIIIIIlarious! Thank you. Wrote just what I was thinking. Why are you tweeting without sharing, conference goer? Where's the nugget? Ugh! That makes it just noise.

OK, so... why do you follow people who tweet like that? I'd drop 'em in a half-second. As @hci I follow tweeps who tweet useful things from conferences and then blog about 'em later. Otherwise I wouldn't be following 'em. I don't have time for useless twits. That's what I use @WichitaCindy for... ha ha ha!

I don't have any statistics to share or discuss any cold hard facts, but I must say that the last thing we need in the Twitterworld is people spamming and whoring out their events, merch, new this or that, and/or ... hell I don't know. I just think about how MySpace (and I do love my Myspace, don't get me wrong) has so many bulletins nonstop of 'New Merch!!' or 'Check us out here/here/here' or other annoying posts that take up a lot of bulletin space. Now, the occassional message to remind your friends/Tweets that you have something new up they might be interested in, or some sort of event upcoming that all can get in on, is fine, but don't spam spam spam.

Maybe this has nothing to do with what you were talking about, but it just sort of came to me when reading your post.

Hope your day goes well :-D
